About This Project

Nature. Recurring creates a three-dimensional artistic experience, it explores nature and its influences on music, poetry and visual art, which was created especially for this project by Tanya Avchinnikova.

Tanya Avchinnikova is an award-winning soft pastel artist based in the UK. Dreams of being closer to the sea, to be dissolved in its freshness, to be able to observe a miracle of water translucency, all this compels her to create it on paper. Her works were selected for two exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, London. She has received the Unison Colour Young Artist Award 2022 for her work Crosby Beach. Hiding in the Dunes.

Graduate of Belorussian State Academy of Music, Tanya always had a craving for art. She works in a realistic style and specialises mostly in seascapes.

The questions this project explores:

  • What are the similarities between portraying a seascape by the means of piano music, and by the means of soft pastel art?
  • Will the differences in perception be confusing or inspire the imagination? Will they create a polyphonic vision?

There is only one way to find out: come to see our project!
